Plant ID Quiz
updated: Feb 23, 2017, 11:51 AM

By Landon

Ok edhatters, see if you can identify this plant I have.

Part 2- question! If you can identify it, help me figure out what the black area is/ what it means? I will post the actual plant type after 10 or so comments.

I know this one. It is Persea americana. Good ole avo tree.

Too much moisture causes necrosis of the avocado leaves.

Mango and they like lots of water percolating through well drained soil. Kinda the opposite of what they'll typically see in Santa Barbara. You can get the trees to grow but you need to be a magician to get decent fruit.

@008 I've had wonderful fruit off my laundry watered mango. Was a prime location: lots of reflected heat and light and frost free.
