From Wednesday afternoon to Thursday morning, three earthquakes hit the Central Coast area. At 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, a 2.8 magnitude earthquake hit near Soledad, CA in south Monterey County.

Hours later around 8:45 p.m., a 3.3 magnitude earthquake struck 22km south of Solvang, CA in Santa Barbara County. Edhat readers from as far as Goleta and Carpinteria reported feeling a few jolts. According to USGS, the exact coordinates of the quake place it just off the coast of the Pacific Ocean between Gaviota and El Capitan.

Just after 9:00 a.m. Thursday, another 2.5 magnitude earthquake hit near Templeton, CA in San Luis Obispo County.
