ROBBERY

WHERE: 2050 GARFIELD, THE LEXINGTON INN
WHEN: 2/2/13 - 2051 HOURS

On 2/2/13, at approximately 2051 hours, San Luis Obispo Police Department received a 911call reporting an armed robbery that just occurred at the Lexington Inn. An unknown
male suspect wearing all black clothing and a black ski mask entered the location and
approached the front desk clerk. The suspect produced a black semi-auto handgun and
demanded money from the clerk. The suspect fled the scene after obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash from the clerk. SLOPD officers responded and checked the area. After an extensive search officers were unable to locate the suspect.
The suspect is described as a white male 19 or 20 years old, approximately 5'-6" and very thin. The suspect was wearing an all-black pull-over type sweatshirt and a black ski mask.
It is unknown if a vehicle was used during this crime and there is currently no suspect
vehicle description.
There were no injuries reported as a result of the robbery.
This is the second robbery at the Lexington Inn this week. The first robbery occurred on
1/31/13, at 2140 hours. Although the suspect descriptions are similar, it is unknown at this time if the robberies are related. The investigation into both robberies is ongoing.
