SLO XMAS

Recently I went into the Downtown SLO core one night to see a movie at the Palm Theater. I strolled the surprisingly deserted streets - thru Mission Plaza - enjoying the sights & sounds of the Christmas Holiday. A very spiritual and well- lit Mission had been sharing its space with a very surreal and empty carousel and a lonely Santa in Santa's shack- wishing he had some more bodies to keep him warm.

Strangely- across the Street from the Mission, in the Sauer Adobe- was a very inviting Tie Alley- adorned with Christmas lights & a large & colorful string if neckties!

Above it all, on top of Cerro San Luis- was the festively adorned Christmas lights on the Christmas tree on the peak.

So, peaceful without the Poly people present, the SLO ambiance was delightful.
