Meet Zeus. He was living under a trailer with his mom and brother until we brought him home at 4 months old. He gets along with just about everyone even his little buddy Diggy, my sister's dog. Actually Diggy is much braver than Zeus. We have no idea what mix of dog breeds he is but with purple on his tongue and his coloring we are guessing there is some chow and rott in there somewhere. His mom looked like a lab so who knows. So happy we heard about this boy that needed a home.

Handsome and happy. Easy to see these two have landed in the land of milk and honey. Love those smiles. Especially Zeus'. Lucky boy to have found you.

I've heard Chows have purple tongues (or purple tongue spots) and that all purple tongued dogs have some Chow in them at least enough to have the gene for that tongue.

But who knows, mystery pups are the best. Thanks for rescuing this handsome feller.

Looks a bit like our mysterious dog who we rescued earlier this year. 9 years in a rescue before he came to us. 9 months later we are all one happy family.
