UPDATE: ###UPDATE### HIGHWAY 101 SOUTHBOUND OFFRAMP AT MARSH STREET CLOSED THROUGH TOMORROW

SAN LUIS OBISPO – Due to signal repair, the City of San Luis Obispo has requested to keep the Hwy. 101 southbound off-ramp at Marsh Street closed until 3 pm tomorrow. The northbound Hwy. 101 off-ramp which was closed this morning will re-open today at 3 pm.

Motorists approaching the intersection of Higuera Street and Marsh Street may encounter a flashing red light beginning this afternoon at 3 pm and continuing through the overnight hours until 9 am tomorrow.

The Hwy. 101 northbound on/off ramps at Marsh Street will be closed on Wednesday, Dec. 5 from 9 am to 3 pm, weather permitting.

Electronic message boards have been activated to inform the public about these ramp closures. The Hwy. 101 on/off ramps at Madonna Road will remain open.

This project by the City of San Luis Obispo will improve the traffic signals at the intersection of Higuera Street and Marsh Street. Caltrans reminds motorists to move over and slow down when driving through highway construction zones.
