Ocean Rescue

Date and Time of Incident: 12/1/2012, 2045 hours. Place of Occurrence: Cayucos Pier Victim Information: Two males and one female, early 20's in age. Suspect Information: N/A

Details of News Release: On 12/01/12, at about 2045 Hrs., SLOSO Deputies, Cal-Fire, Cayucos Fire, and Morro Bay Fire, responded to the Cayucos Pier to a report that there were three juveniles in the water at the end of the pier.

On arrival, Deputies learned that two young adults fell into the water from the pier. A third young adult entered the water to attempt rescue. One male and a female made it to shore on their own. The second male was rescued by Morro Bay Fire Dept. rescue swimmers and transported to a local hospital for observation.
